Simmons Properties appointed us to conduct a structural and civil assessment of multiple properties within a holiday resort. The resort comprised of eight separate buildings, which have been relocated from various states within Malaysia and rebuilt and restored.
Together these buildings include 20 suites, a restaurant, bar, café with two swimming pools and had been on site for over ten years, and all were in various states of repair. We reviewed the structural stability of the existing buildings, one of which had over 100-year-old timber frame and provide solutions for the upgrade of the buildings and its civil infrastructure.
