Appointed by Mohib Holdings, we provided structural consultation for their project, the Kabul Markaz, a mixed-use development, comprising of three residential tower blocks, an 11-story hotel, with four stories of commercial space, a swimming pool and landscaped garden.
The project, which will be the largest private commercial project in Afghanistan, is also the first project in Kabul to use post-tension slab and beam designs.
Our post-tension designs were vital in achieving the large spans required as well as complying to the restraints imposed due to the high-risk earthquake zone, in which Kabul sits.
