The Waiparuru Hall is a University of Auckland student accommodation development with 786 student accommodations and facilities. The development consists of two towers, twelve and fourteen levels, linked via a two-level podium and a split basement beneath. This is now the largest fully catered student accommodation hall in New Zealand, boasting generous communal facilities including study areas and recreational areas for games and relaxation.
Engaged via an Early Contractor Involvement, EDGE provided structural design, documentation, and construction monitoring services for the post-tensioned concrete floors adopted for all levels.
