EDGE delivered structural engineering solutions for a landmark hospitality project on the scenic south coast of Sri Lanka. The project comprises three interconnected buildings, each rising 8 levels. The development was designed to offer luxury accommodation with expansive open spaces, premium amenities, and breathtaking ocean views.
A key feature included 16.5m clear spans, enabling column-free lobbies, ballrooms, and dining areas that enhance guest experience. Structural systems were engineered to resist high wind loads, salt-laden air, and seismic activity, ensuring long-term performance and safety. Through innovative design and value engineering, we optimised material usage and construction efficiency without compromising integrity or aesthetics.
