We were appointed by DCM Group to provide structural designs for a four-storey, 37-unit luxury apartment building, with eight adjoining townhouses.
The project had a particularly high floor to ceiling at 2.7m, this meant we needed to devise an innovation solution to reduce the floor slab thickness to a minimum, to achieve the architect’s luxury vision.
The common three level basement was designed with internal stage propping, sequenced to ensure a safe construction and to minimise the use of any ground anchors.
