The Hayman Island Pavilions consist of a number of luxury freestanding hotel rooms located on the beachfront of Hayman Island.
EDGE provided the structural design for these rooms as a modular system. The modular construction allowed for the structure and fit out to be completed prior to transporting the modules to the island and installing them onto the foundations. The structure’s location is subject to cyclonic wind speeds, which, coupled with an open-plan interior design and extensive external glazing, required a creative structural design.
