Appointed by Nam Concept Pty Ltd, the Simpson’s Road development had some challenges due to the project’s location on a very steep (30 degrees +) block. This meant that our designs needed to carefully balance the cut, fill and protection of the slope during the excavation stage, to ensure overall stability.
Material selection was also critical for this project, we utilised shotcrete and lost metal deck formwork, this meant the project was constructed quicker and was more convenient for access.
