Taylor Wimpey appointed us to provide structural, civil, and geo-environmental support for a new 300-home project in Crewe, Cheshire. Built on land off David Whitby Way, the scheme includes a mix of two, three, and four-bed homes.
Millbrook Place features large areas of public open space, a community orchard, a children’s play area, and retains ecological habitats along the neighbouring Basford Brook.
This was a particularly challenging site, saw us having to go through lots of constraints and red tape to provide solutions for the client. Working alongside Cheshire East council, United Utilities, and the Environment Agency we undertook civil designs for the project as well as providing structural designs for the foundations, culvert and road bridge and footbridge designs.
